We launched our services in late 2019 and built the data to find the right influencer for any audience.
As the way people discover brands changed, so did we. Today we connect influencers, creators, paid media, search and AI visibility, and brand listening into one loop, for brands, governments and political campaigns.

Co-founder & CEO
Shamik has spent 25+ years where media, technology and celebrity collide, across 15+ countries. He spearheaded the launch of Radio Mirchi, brought Indian Idol to Indian television, and helped lay the foundations of music streaming in India.
Long before “creator economy” was a phrase, he was building private social platforms for the world’s biggest stars, launching 160+ celebrity apps with names from Bollywood to Hollywood, including Gerard Butler, Jeremy Renner, Agnez Mo and Sunny Leone.
Today he brings that instinct for fame, fandom and influence to BeTagged, turning the power of trusted voices into growth for brands, governments and campaigns.
Anurag Awasthi
Co-founder & COO
Born and raised in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, Anurag is a rare blend of artist and computer science engineer. An IIT BHU alumnus, he has spent 29 years in information technology, delivering and upgrading large-scale financial and healthcare systems for the Government of Singapore.
He knows how data and technology solve problems on the ground, not just on paper. That understanding gives BeTagged, and its clients, a real edge.
