Influencer marketing, explained in under a minute.

What is influencer marketing?
Shamik Talukder, Co-founder & CEO

Influencer marketing is paying people whom an audience already trusts to talk about your brand. You are not really buying a post. You are buying access to their audience and the trust they have built with it.

Done well, it works like media: you decide who you need to reach, then choose the voices those people actually listen to.

How do I choose the right influencer for my brand?
Shamik Talukder, Co-founder & CEO

Start with your customer, not the influencer. Define who you need to reach by age, city, language and interests.

Then look at each influencer’s followers, not their profile: who they are, where they live, and whether they are real. Pick the influencers whose audience matches yours, at whatever size. That is how we plan every BeTagged campaign.

Is follower count a good way to pick influencers?
Shamik Talukder, Co-founder & CEO

No. Follower count tells you how big an audience is, not who is in it. An influencer with two million followers in the wrong cities is worth less to you than one with 20,000 in exactly the right ones.

Judge on audience match, engagement quality and the share of real followers.

Working with BeTagged

How we plan, run and measure campaigns.

How do you choose influencers?

We start from the audience you need to reach, then map each influencer’s followers: who they are, where they live, what language they speak, what they care about and whether they are real. We pick on audience match and merit, not on fame or follower count.

Do you work with a fixed roster?

No. We work with any influencer or creator who is right for your audience, which means our recommendations are never limited by who we have signed.

How do you measure ROI?

We agree targets before launch, such as reach, engagement, clicks, sales or cost per acquisition, then track them with links, codes and platform data, and report against them throughout the campaign.

What does a campaign cost?

It depends on your goals, markets and the mix of influencers. Tell us your objective and budget range and we will recommend the most efficient plan.

Which platforms do you cover?

Instagram, YouTube and YouTube Shorts, TikTok where available, Facebook, X, LinkedIn and regional platforms, depending on where your audience spends time.
